As everyone knows, fall is my favorite time of the year. It couldn't be prettier than it is today. It is a perfect 71 degrees outside, sunny, not much wind, just enough.
I have decided as I always have that you need to take a break and stop and smell the roses sometimes in your lifetime. You will never regret it.
Whenever I am free from being with Myron, I take the opportunity to do things I want to do away from cleaning the house, kitchen, whatever, so, i took my dog and my friend to Lake Shawnee today to grab some photos of the pretty fall trees along with me and Charlie in the photo. I asked Julie to take the pictures. There is one that is great. Myron and I will use that one for the month of October 2009 when we make the calendar for his mom. I will have many more photos to choose from as I will ask Myron to get some good photo ops while he is in South Dakota this weekend.
His mother will be 95 years young and we will need to include that photo on the month of November 2009. I am saddened that I can't always be at family functions due to the fact that I am still working but I know Myron and Mark will have a great time with his siblings and his mom while he is there and that retirement for me can only be 2 years away or so and that will be fine with me.
I am a person who enjoys stopping to smell the roses, have a little fun out of life and enjoy the moment wherever I am. I hope you will do the same.
